Onion Quiche

You Will Need:

– 2 onions, thinly sliced (HINT: When slicing onions, try slicing them next to boiling water to reduce “crying”)

– 4 eggs

– 1/4 cup heavy cream

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/2 cup shredded gruyere cheese

– 4 tablespoons butter

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1/2 tsp garlic powder

– 1 pie crust  UNBAKED (I like pillsbury, the ones you can roll out)


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2. In a large pan, sautee onions in butter for about 7 minutes, or until onions look carmelized.

3. Whisk together egg, cream, and seasonings. Pour into UNBAKED pie crust.

4. Bake for about 30 minutes, or until eggs and pie crust seemed fully cooked.
