Black Bean Burgers

You will need:

– 1/3 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs

– 2 15.5 ounce cans of black beans

– 2 eggs

– 2 tablespoons season-all salt

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/4 cup barbeque sauce (5 tablespoons)

– 1 tablespoon soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon worchestire sauce

– 1 tablespoon lemon juice

– 1 carrot, shredded

– 4 tablespoons olive oil

Directions:

1. Drain the black beans. In a medium bowl, mash black beans and carrots until black beans are fully mashed. Add in seasonings, eggs, soy sauce, worchestire sauce, and bread crumbs. Stir together.

2. Place mixture into the fridge for about 15 minutes.

3. In a meduim pan, heat olive oil and form burger patties. Cook until each burger looks done, or there is a nice sear on each burger.
